Istanbul is where our Dream

   Until now Istanbul has been seriously damaged as an architectual object and a silhouette. It is of great necessity to get a true interpretation of the issue. At the very least an extensive building and silhouette restoration should definitely becarried out in the areas, where the exterior is believed to be of prime importance. First and foremost these places include Surici, Galata, Uskudar and Bosphorus.Painting’s special features Thousands of buildings’ scatches were drawn as a result of various images’ combinations and historical monuments were created in miniature proportions.

In the picture we can see about half a hundred types of socially significant ships and warships, which were widely used in Ottoman Empire.

The artwork represents a panoramic map of the area which links Maiden’s Tower to Fatih Tower.

The work was created thanks to the use of topographical, panorama and tilted perspective.

In this piece of work the painter united Karakoy with Sarayburnu by means of linking the bridge which was constructed by Leonardo Davinchi for Beyazit Han.The painting’s flora is represented by pinetrees, cypresses, silver fir and maple trees.In the picture there are Sadaka Stones, which were symbolized at the times of Ottoman Empire.

The painting displays Bird houses, which were usually constructed close to the roof area and considered as an important cultural object in Ottoman Empire.The painting shows bay-windowed houses, which were widespread among the Ottoman population. At Meydani (Hippodrome of Constantinople) and Okmeydani are located below Fatih Tower as it can be seen in the picture.

In the painting the restored walls of Constantinople embrace the area from Eminonu till Sarayburnu.

İn the painting wooden and bay-windowed houses cover the whole area of Istanbul according to the architecture of 16th century.

All pieces of work were designed.All features of pieces of monumental art were preserved in the work.
